First Annual Festival of the North: The Gojal Chapter (October 20 - 23, 2022)
In wake of recent floods and drop in tourist activity, SMEDA, PTDC and Government of Gilgit Baltistan are organizing a four-day festival to support small businesses of upper Hunza through tourism promotion. The festivities will be spread across various towns across Gojal valley. SMEDA plans to organize “Festival of the North” as an annual event and will be focusing on improving and diversifying products and services of the local SMEs. Join us in Passu to experience the local hospitality and support the local community by taking part in our efforts to develop SMEs through tourism promotion.
Duikar village is the best place to view sunrise / sunset while millions of stars can be seen shining in the sky at night. Passu Valley and Gulmit Valley are also popular for its picturesque scenery.
