Autumn is the time when the landscape of valleys of Gilgit-Baltistan is at its most picturesque. The valley of Hunza and Nagar districts are the few places where you can enjoy the most colorful autumn season in this area. The trees throughout the valley seem to be on fire, as their leaves turn to gold, red, orange and bronze contrasting sharply with the barren mountains.
This area hosts a number of famous peaks of more than 6000 meter in height. This trip offer you to see some of the most beautiful mountain peaks of this region including Ultar, Rakaposhi, Diran, Ladyfinger, Golan Peak and many more.
Truly, a photographer’s dream come true, the tour provides a golden opportunity to capture the stunning autumn scenery through the lens of a camera. At the end of the Photo Safari there will be a Photographic Competition among the participants of this tour. Certificates of merit will be awarded to all the participants of trip and shield will be presented to the three best photographers.
Itinerary (18 to 23 October)
| Day 1: | Early Departure from Islamabad to Chilas. Travel on KKH. In the evening visit Rock Art heritage site. Night stay at Shangrila Midway Chilas. |
| Day 2: | Chilas to Hunza. Sort stay at Mountain Ranges meeting point, Rakaposhi View Point for photography and refreshments. Enjoy scenic drive on KKH. Arrival at Hunza. Sightseeing and photography. Overnight stay at hotel. |
| Day 3: | Full day to explore Hunza and photography. Visit Duikar, Altit Fort, Baltit Fort and Ganaish. Overnight stay at Regency Inn Hunza. |
| Day 4: | Full day trip to Upper Hunza. Visit Attabad Lake, Gulmit, Passu, Borit Lake, Khyber and Morkhon and avail photography opportunity at different scenic locations. Return to Gulmit for night stay. |
| Day 5: | Participate in Festival of North activities. Night stay at Gulmit. |
| Day 6: | Early morning departure for Islamabad. Travel via Chilas and Besham on KKH. Arrival at Islamabad late night. End of tour |
